Tias has a remarkable selection of shops and is perhaps the only village in Lanzarote to have a shopping centre as such. Most emporia are aimed at local people so the offerings are free from tourist ephemera that are common in Puerto del Carmen et al. Also prices are cheaper than the tourist zones. Of special note is our new supermarket with an extensive array of fresh vegetables, fruit, fish and meat. The local hardware store is the best on the island and as big as the UK Homebase!. We have our own Green/Health food store, two internet cafes and lots of specialist retailers as you can see by the summary of pics below.
